How did the team, founded in 1959, come to have such a loaded name? In 1959 people had lives, and were not triggered snowflakes. That is at least part of it. I was in Japan, in Uncle Sam’s Army.

The snowflake who wrote this drivel would really be triggered if he/she/it attended a football game at my High School.
Our team are the “Red Raiders”, the mascot is dressed as a Native American, complete with full headdress and moccasins, the uniforms resemble the Chiefs’, including the arrowhead on the helmet.
At midfield, there is a large Arrowhead logo and the band does the “tomahawk chop”. It’s as Politically Incorrect as possible.
