“Will the gardening thread evolve to growing MJ?”

I did have one poster ask about it, but after consulting with a few other members, we decided he should start his own pot-grower’s thread - with Jim Robinson’s OK, of course. ;)

I’ve got enough on my plate as it is, and besides, I already have plenty of it growing wild at my farm with no assistance from me! ;)

It’s actually hemp - but people still get a chuckle out of it. Since 2017 industrial hemp and hemp for CBD oil (all the rage!) has been allowed to be grown as a crop again in Wisconsin after being banned for 50 years. The stuff we have that pops up here and there is still leftover from many years ago. Totally harmless, but fun to add to flower bouquets, LOL!

Cool.. I can’t believe how many ‘Medical’ MJ places are popping up in MD...

Only 6-8 more years of this place... Have to admit though, it is easier to grow vegetables here then Michigan! Go Blue!

That was me that inquired about the MJ.

Have not contacted Jim yet about starting a new MJ Thread and I will Not without his approval. Been kinda busy.

It is his house and we must respect that.

Feel free to email be separate from this thread as I do not want to hijack it.

Hemp for rope and other industrial uses was inclouraged by the government in WW II. Planting the seeds in the midwest allowed it to go wild at “ditch weed.”
