To be fair about the intellect of football players: I knew someone who had played for the Raiders until an injury permanently sidelined him. So he did what anyone whose football career has been cut short would do, went back to college. He earned a DVM and a PhD.

Who cares about this drivel!!! I haven’t watched the National Felon League in TWENTY SEVEN YEARS!!!
I don’t CARE about football AT ALL and yes I came to this thread just to say that!!
Because it shows my moral, intellectual, spiritual, mental and physical superiority!!
Now that I’m done making this post after opening a thread about a topic I dont care about, I’m going to stand on my street corner to tell anyone who passes how long it’s been since I watched football!!...
Just getting this post out of the way before someone else does it. :)

As an aside, Erk Russell was a neighbour of mine. I often saw him and his wife out walking.
And this is an unaltered picture from 'The Hugo Bowl'. Yes, GA Southern played a championship game in a HURRICANE! I was there.

I was in the College of Engineering with a kid at Penn State who was a
dual major AeroSpace/Mechanical Engineering and a back up O-line man.
Dude was big, strong and smart. Hell of a nice guy too.
