I remember when BOC was a local bar band here called Soft White Underbelly. They did a Soft White Underbelly tour not too long ago, smaller clubs just the music, no blow up dinosaurs, etc.

I saw them on the tour after Agents of Fortune was released.
One of the best shows.
Manfred Mann’s Earth Band opened.

I saw them as a warm up band for somebody and was shocked how good they were. Better than the main act in my opinion.

Hubby and I *very* rarely go to rock concerts these days, but we did see BLUE ÖYSTER CULT and Kansas (Carry On Wayward Son) about 2-3 years ago in Springfield, MA in a smallish venue. Both bands were awesome!
I think both bands had all or mostly original members. I was actually surprised how good they sounded after all these years.

They did a Soft White Underbelly tour not too long ago Saw them in the early 80's at the Keystone in Berkeley playing under the SWU name. Also saw them as BÖC in the same era. Just a couple years ago, I was spending a weekend in Big Bear, CA, and by happenstance, they were playing at a small venue called "The Cave", so we grabbed tix and saw them again, 1st row behind the mosh pit. Albert Bouchard was there and played for a set or so. Still sounding great.

I’ve seen BOC live twice: Once in St. Louis in, IIRC, 1976, opening for Uriah Heep, and then much later in, of all places, a large bar in Paducah, KY. Might have been around 1999. They were excellent both times, and, in that bar, Hoooeey! I was really glad I took hearing protection!
Toward the end of that show in the bar, they played Godzilla. That’s by quite a bit not my favorite song of theirs (Either Death Valley Nights or Veteran Of The Psychic Wars might be), but, Godzilla IS fun, and that place (the bar crowd) just went totally nuts. I know I shouldn’t swear about such things, but, I swear, people in the crowd well in front of me were flyin’ sideways.
Were they thrown or did they jump? Can’t say...

“I Am The Storm” should be Trump’s campaign theme song.

23 I saw them on the tour after Agents of Fortune was released. One of the best shows. Manfred Manns Earth Band opened. Saw them play at the Alexander Memorial Coliseum on the Georgia Tech campus, spring 1974. Manfred Mann's Earth Band also opened for them.

Yep, Black and Blue tour. Saw it at the Rockford Speedway (IL).

I was the monitor engineer for their 2 shows at the Levoy Theater in Millville, NJ. several years ago. Great band but I was surprised to hear Buck Dharma not play the solo to Burnin for You and DFTR anywhere near the recorded versions.
