It may have been a China/asia specific weapon that they stole from Canada and they botched trying to make a “safe” version that would spread through their population and immunize them against the original weapon.
It definitely seems to hit asians and/or Chinese harder.

It’s very possible. I have to say, I just don’t know the Chinese Mind Set that well.
1. However, we do know that Mao killed Millions without a doubt.
2. We know they already have a population problem, and a major source of food had to be slaughtered. So feeding their people might be a bigger problem than usual.
3. We know that Hong Kong protests were ongoing, and perhaps they didn’t want a repeat of Tiennaman Square.
4. We know that their economy was heading down, which can lead to regime change, if it gets bad enough.
So regardless of intent, this out break is going to reduce their population-the most vulnerable and least productive most likely victims.
And it’s already stopped the Hong Kong protests, and with Quarantined Homes with bars on windows, protests aren’t likely to spread either.
Would I put it past Commies to do that to their own people? No I wouldn’t. Just like I wouldn’t be surprised if some of our own Cabal would do the same to us.
Oh, and by the way, the ChiComs can also just tell their people it was the evil USA that got the virus started.
