So you work for the company? Nice ad.....
Really hate Indeed Ads. Of the ads I seen on TV, 2 feature Indians. Its a slap in the face to the tens of thousands of Americans replaced by H1B Indian Foreign Talent

Job hopping ALWAYS LOOKS BAD on your resume. Period. End of story. This is what I do. Very few folks out there available...yet Job Hoppers are seen as unemployable. Lots of Hoppers looking.
Few quality candidates available. Be careful who you take job advise from. Seriously.
Long term goals? When I got a new boss, he asked me what my career plans were. My answer: “glide path to retirement”.
I always got a nice pay increase when switching jobs.
1st job was a family business and low pay, next moved out of state and first job paid more, 2nd job started less but paid more later, 3rd job was offered $11,000 more to start. I played it cool.... then after I left the building was real excited. Still working at the company 17 years later.
The Indian big boss of the company (less then 2 years hired) I think is planning on replacing us with H1b types or just hire a lower cost help desk as he is dumbing down our responsibilities. I am too old to jump again well pushed as all my jobs were the result of either moving or the company downsizing.
I wonder how this ties in with the hearsay that 2020 will be a recession year. I personally don’t think 2020 will be a recession year - the indicators seem wrong to me. 2021 may be the year in my opinion (just basing that on the irrational exuberance in the stock markets)
Well, it wasn't really a problem on my Desktop PC but I bet FReepers on cell phones are a slightly annoyed.
Not any more and depending on the industry.
In the IT world people EXPECT you to stay 2 to 5 years with 3 years being the sweet spot at which the cost of hiring matches the input brought in.
If someone job hops every year, that’s bad
I’m an executive recruiter as well. Changes happen for a reason if there are many on the resume, and most times are the fault of the candidate. It’s very difficult to get an employer to look at a resume of a candidate when they have changed jobs 8 times in 16 years....I just placed a Director who was at his company 23 years. STRONG upward movement...my client felt it was a no-brainier.
Before my last job search (I jumped) I removed less recent jobs from my resume, as well as the dates of my college degrees.
I know of a few people who left, stable jobs for new jobs with higher pay.
The problem is things can change quickly in a new company, and in many cases it’s “Last In, First Out” when it comes time to cut.
And that stable job they were in is no longer available.
Just think about the long-term viability of a company and how stable things will be before making the leap. Especially if you’re over 40.
I haven't seen those ads. It's strange that they would target Indians, since H-1B visas belong to the employer not the employee, hindering job switches.

I'm not surprised.
Yup yup yup...I have a quality guy like that now... Ok
When you see a resume where a guy has had 11 jobs in 4 years, it tells you that he is either a drunk, a thief, or a blithering incompetent.
However, we’re heading in the direction of employers being microregulated to thwart ANY possible type of discrimination. Pretty soon some bureaucrat will tell you who you’re going to hire.
I left my “current employer” 2 years ago. And am now happily employed by myself — in retirement.
Well, congratulations !!
This article isn’t meant for you then :)
An H1B holder CAN switch his visa to a new employer. The new employer just needs to fork over around $5000 in fees
Which is a hindrance, as I said. I presume the agreement of the current employer is also required?
