Feral Cat,they suck no way to sugar coat it.

Useless

Sis brought one home to my Maw(87yo),if it wanted something it was”tolerable” (but barely), if not it was nasty and mean. It sucked.
Took it back to the sisters farm as an out door and was gone in a few days and good, cat sucked

I’ve got an 18 pound Maine Coon that is a rescue cat off the streets of Ogden, UT. Great cat, he’s a sweet boy. I don’t think he was out for very long, he didn’t act like a stray. A couple of years ago I was playing with him in my front yard and the neighbor’s dog decided to take a run at him, that went really badly for the dog.

I’ve had a couple of feral cats and they became really good cats once they started becoming domesticated. They really loved affection once they understood it.

There’s good cats and grumpy cats just like good humans and grumpy humans. Just like humans, some cats enjoy being picked up and hugged and some don’t. Boo on the shelter workers. That cat is sure enjoying his head patting so leave off picking him up. He’s far from the worst cat in the world. They said he was ok at first but then got grumpy at the shelter. Well, who wouldn’t be grumpy. Get him out of there and away from those grumpy workers and he’ll be just fine.

We’ve had wonderful ferals that become homebodies and some that remained half feral. All were/are good cats.

Four of our five cats were feral. They’re the most loving, sweet cats we’ve ever had. It takes a little time, and they seem to take on the personality and tone of their owners. We’re low-key, and that’s the atmosphere they’ve had. We are lucky that they found us.
