My kids attended public school. Besides the incredible amounts of money spent, and the indoctrination - it was above all, an extreme waste of time. They spent 7 hours a day there, but if you condensed it down into actual learning time, it could probably be counted in mere minutes.
You’ve confused different people. Hansen was Oklahoma home-schooled, not Eilish.
As parents of a now 36 yo homeschooled college grad (a good college - at least it was in 2000-2004 when she went) I am in complete agreement.
When she arrived at the small private college on scholarship her counselor told her he loved homeschooled students.
I LOVE bragging about her to the indoctrinated leftist teachers. It REALLY pisses them off. I’ve been cussed out a couple of times.

Learning to cook from your mother is pretty retrograde in itself.
She has some mental disorders and has been hospitalized at one time I believe.
