NAFTA was a bipartisan disaster IIRC
How about Idiot Ed Markey? Massport in his state will greatly benefit from this trade deal. But Mr. Frosty voted against the bill...
Nancy Pelosi took credit shortly after. I suppose the MSM will lead with that.
I watched most of that signing ceremony and did not see one Democrat. Don’t both parties have members at such signings?
Pelosi and Dems weren't workers....they were disrupters.
And it was the President who got into all these changes in trade....something the Dems NEVER would have done.
“Nancy Pelosi took credit shortly after. I suppose the MSM will lead with that”.
I wasn’t able to see the whole signing ceremony but what I saw had no Democrat lawmakers in attendance.
Yeh....Usually....... :-)
Why ?, did the President have to ask Pelosi where she bought the special signing pens so he could order some ? /S
ABC,CBS,NBC,MSNBC,CNN not one of these scumbag enemy media company’s aired this, not one! Truly the enemy of the people. If zippy the a##clown farted it would be televised the world over
I know what you mean.
The State of the Union is going to be something to watch. We know the Dems behavior is going to be disgusting.
I hope a god size group of them are no shows.
god=good
sigh...
I agree 100%.
video, 42 mins: President Donald Trump signs US-Mexico-Canada trade agreement 1/29/2020
BIGLY TRUMP ping!
TRUMP TRAIN ping!
Makes sense to have a working relationship with Canada and Mexico rather than with China. For one thing, it will improve the well being of people in the South Americas.
IT will improve the quality of goods and services here too.
Does anyone here remember any other president being this warm and cordial to people he meets, or who come to the WH?
I mean, he makes them all feel like they’re really special...
I love that guy.
Regarding NAFTA, Ross Perot called it right back in 1992.
He warned that the "giant sucking sound" NAFTA would create would be American jobs heading to the cheap labor markets of Mexico.
Of course he was ridiculed for that forecast by presidential candidates George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and the establishment press.
But any intelligent person could see NAFTA would be a disaster for American industry - and it most certainly was.
Yet it took 26 years and a strong, pro-American president like Donald Trump to right that horrid wrong.
