After drops of 14% and 9%, the NFL is seeing an increase, and for the 2nd year in a row, have had a 5% increase.

That 5% for 2 years does not begin to make up for the massive losses they’ve had.

They are at approximately 86% of where they were when they fell. Record profits? Maybe. But, that’s because of lucrative TV deals, not due to ticket sales. Ticket sales have plummeted. They removed the rule a few years back that made it so if you didn’t sell out the stadium, you couldn’t air the game locally. Always had some local schlubs that would buy up the last few tickets.

I'll believe the "boycott" was "successful" when every TV station stops bowing before the altar of the mighty NFL and pre-empting everyone else's TV show for endless football crap. X-Files fans couldn't even watch the revival of their show after a DECADE hiatus, cuz you know, some football game is MUCH more important to broadcasters. And that at the height of the "boycott".

Until that happens, you guys need to try "boycotting" a little harder because right now the NFL controls the entire entertainment industry.
