I also have been receiving postcards regarding the ‘warranty’ on my vehicles. Those start coming in right after I renew registrations-—so I am convinced that someone at DMV is handing out that information.

I sent those cards directly to my State Senator with my belief that DMV is part of the problem.

I have a 1976 Chevy 1 ton dually truck I bought used in 1986 and a 1979 Buick station wagon I bought used in 1981. Both were bought from private parties, with NO warranty.

Truck has 348,000 on the chassis & the car has 217,000. Both run fine.
