Social democracy bases its whole world outlook on scientific socialism, i.e. Marxism.
Also Lenin, from The Attitude of the Workers Party to Religion, 1909
Yet more proof that there is no difference between social democracy/democratic socialism and Marxism. But people like Crazy Bernie still rely on those that insist on being ignorant.

Lenin’s Bolshevik Party started out as a faction in the Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party. So Lenin is basically saying that his Marxist party is Marxist. That doesn’t necessarily apply to today’s Social Democratic parties, most of which are working inside the capitalist system. Democratic socialism is something else and may not exist or be possible or work.

There isn't a dime's bit of difference between any of the ‘’isms’’ of the Left. Fascism, Socialism, Communism, Marxism , or Nazism. It's all the same. It's totalitarianism. It's about you climbing into a box car. The verbiage is meant to beguile and confuse. The Left knows decent, freedom loving people will try and engage them in civil discourse and open and honest debate and the Left wants none of it because they know they can't challenge or refute it. That's why violence is their stock in trade. I know these people. I used to be one of them.
