I was posting some weeks ago that this precedent would set up a parliamentary system of government without a Constitutional amendment. The Senate should have dealt with this in the most severe terms.
A parliamentary system lacks our stability - look at Israel right now. However, such a change suits the Dem Party dreams for more power and control.
a parliamentary system is what the Dems want, it is the first step to a totalitarian system for them. IMO

Truer and wiser words were never spoken. But they were considered. And we fight for it. In various forms when required and not until.

I am hoping for about 56-44 vote to acquit (including 3 RATS: Jones AL, Manchin WV and Sinema AZ).
This would rebuke the House and hopefully put the impeachment genie back in the bottle.
I can imagine an even higher acquittal vote on the absurd "Obstruction of Congress" Article.
We are about to find out if there is even a tiny iota of integrity amongst the RAT Senators.
:: this precedent would set up a parliamentary system of government ::
I noted that about three threads ago and the conservative talking heads are saying it recently, also.
To see the end goal of this, take a look at GBR, or watch the BritCom “Yes, Minister!”/”Yes, Prime Minister!” Sir Appleby is the consummate Deep Stater (SES). It’s available in clips on YouTube and full seasons (3) on AmazonPrimeVideo.
