Second City Television, commonly shortened to SCTV, is a Canadian television sketch comedy show that ran between 1976 and 1984.

It looks like Toronto was Canada’s Second City up until 1986 when it was surpassed by Calgary. Then for the 2001 census, Toronto jumped to #1 after some major annexations.
