Kobe Bryant plays Moonlight Sonata.

He taught himself this to show to his wife.

A tribute to a legend, a union of sports and music in one man.

Director : Brandon Nicholas

DP: Zach Voytas

Featuring: The Luring Quartet

Winner of a 2014 Bronze Telly Award

We had a very narrow window of time to shoot this promotional piece with Kobe. He arrived in the conference room at the Graves 106 Hotel in MN at 6:45pm and 20 minutes later he was gone.

The late Kobe Bryant learned to play Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata

We have been sent a 2014 video of the basketball star, tragically killed with his daughter yesterday in a helicopter crash, playing piano in an arrangement of the Moonlight Sonata, which he apparently loved.

The producers say: We had a very narrow window of time to shoot this promotional piece with Kobe. He arrived in the conference room at the Graves 106 Hotel in MN at 6:45pm and 20 minutes later he was gone.

Kobe told reporters that he took piano lessons in order to play the Moonlight for his wife, Vanessa, whose favourite piece it was.

Eternal rest.

I didn’t know much about him, but from what I’ve seen, he must have been a good man.

Here’s the part of “Moonlight Sonata” (Beethoven) that he didn’t play:

He had his faults and made mistakes in his younger days (don’t we all ? ), but he owned up to them and tried to totally redeem himself after that and in that, he totally succeeded.

I made mistakes when I was young but I never raped and choked anyone. Was never even tempted tbh.

Bryant, 24 at the time (17 years ago), was charged with one count of felony assault. It took 14 months for the criminal case to be resolved.

Surprisingly, the accuser decided she would not testify, and prosecutors dropped the case Sept. 1, 2004.

A civil suit brought by the accuser a month before was settled out of court on March 2, 2005, marking the end of a legal saga that drew worldwide attention but never resulted in a trial.

His wife, Vanessa threatened to divorce him over it. He did his best to woo her back ( even gifting her with a huge diamond ring ). They patched things up eventually.

Not a terribly difficult piece, but nicely played.

If he wasn’t a rapist, he might even earn some respect from me.

Can’t we let bygones be bygones?

The victim already let it go.

Let us heed the advice of the Apostle Paul: PHILIPPIANS 3:13

That is being played presto agitato.
That is not the way anyone would normally it.

The victim “let it go” after the national news media did a full-court press to “slut-shame” her, and the prosecution repeatedly botched the case. It became plainly obvious that she was not going to get justice.

For those who don’t speak Italian....

Presto Agitato - Very fast and Agitated.

RE: The victim “let it go” after the national news media did a full-court press to “slut-shame” her, and the prosecution repeatedly botched the case. It became plainly obvious that she was not going to get justice.

The accuser had a medical examination that eventually became problematic for her because DNA evidence suggested she had sex with someone else in the 15 hours after the alleged rape and before the exam.

She eventually settled the case ( in other words, MONEY was paid ). Trump did the same thing with Stormy Daniels. I don’t see you harping about Trump being an adulterer.

Let’s drop it. Kobe made a mistake. He has since redeemed himself after nearly two decades.

He attended church, so one must assume that he feared/revered God, and loved his family.
