This is the singers third pro-Trump fashion statement at the music awards show; she notified the White House that she would wear something to be supportive.
Known for making political style statements on the red carpet, singer-songwriter Joy Villa turned up at the 62nd Grammy Awards in Los Angeles wearing a gown in support of President Trumps 2020 re-election campaign. This is her third showing of support for Trump on the red carpet.

You may be right. My memories may be skewed because I do distinctly remember in the mid 90s scamming on and picking up some cute little magenta-haired, alterna-chicks with lots of tats. Hey, it was the flavor of the day.
Your body is the temple of the
Holy Spirit, what else would you call it? I Cor. 6:19.
"As an artist I use my voice for what my heart holds dear: American exceptionalism lifting up integrity, free speech, family values and our beautiful freedom of religion. Thank God for @realdonaldtrump! The first president in USA history to be impeached and re-elected by us, the American people!..."
I'm sure the haters over there are gathering as we speak.
Take courage to walk into the lion's den with a shirt saying 'I support Gladiators...'
Get on the team.
We won't be able to take back America if we keep throwing people out of the movement.
And for tatoos?
What's wrong with you people?
>
What team, what “movement?” I never threw anyone overboard. Keep your tattoos and speak for yourself.
We call it MAGA. Perhaps you've heard.
I never threw anyone overboard.
No, you NEVER talk fungus talk to patriots. Nope.
Keep your tattoos
Don't have none. Don't like 'em. A tattoo on a pretty girl is like pissing in a field of virgin snow.
Joy Villa can do what she wants with her skin. This is still a free country.
and speak for yourself.
Always.
I’m glad that there is someone in the music industry with the balls to support our president and oppose the Left, even if it has to be a woman (who has more guts, i.e. balls, then most men).
She looks good too. A nice smile, not a cow’s scow.
‘-)
"Leviticus 19:28: Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD."
There are legitimate reasons for most prohibitions you find in the Bible. Improperly cooked pork and shellfish can be dangerous, if not lethal. In a world without penicillin, tatoos likewise, are dangerous. Why take chances and tempt badness in your life?
Leviticus 19:27 : “Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard."
Don't really know the genesis of that one. (no pun intended)
In general, I'm not a fan of tats, but don't really care. I'm personally kind of grateful that the New Testament does away with most of these prohibitions. I can think of few things on this planet that are better than bacon.
Being a sinner, asking for God's mercy, I do not find it useful to condemn others for many things like this. I would condemn homosexuality and similar things because I do not believe such practices are useful for the race, and believe they lead to greater depravity that is dangerous to both the practitioner, and those around them.
Nice. You asked why someone didn’t like tattoos, and were given a respectful and legitimate response, which you dismissed just like a typical leftist as “religious nonsense”. At least that’s what your response appeared to be, correct me if I’m mistaken.
How understanding and respectful of you.
I’m not a fan of tattoos either, though I understand it’s a current trend among a certain demographic.
That said, my dislike of tattoos lies mainly in my distaste for the staining and disfigurement of human skin. Most of these young women currently sporting such “art” are at the height of their physical perfection. Their skin is clean, fresh and without blemish, and they go and have it punctured and inks placed beneath the surface in an attempt at being “unique”.
Just like everybody else! The fact that the vast majority of them don’t realize exactly how badly tattoos age is irrelevant, am I right?
Yes, it is their choice, and they are free to make their statements with their skin.
I, and others who are not fans of “body art” are also free to express our thoughts on this particular fad.
I'm not a fan of woman with tattoos.I've never seen a single one woman didn't want to hide at one time or another....
Having been in the fashion Industry you seldom see these on models unless they're stickers or drawn to accessorize a garment. Otherwise they're always a distraction and in the way of what a woman is wearing.
I didnt call anything religious nonsense . I simply pointed out that this is not the religion forum, or ever close to being a religion topic, so I did not understand why the poster would give such an out of context response. Plus, unless the reader is a religious Jew, the reply doesnt even apply to them.
The fact that the vast majority of them dont realize exactly how badly tattoos age is irrelevant, am I right?
It really is irrelevant. If a person likes them, enjoys them, and wants them, thats their decision and Im sure that they really dont care that somebody else doesnt like the way it looks. And unless you are getting the exact same tattoos as someone else, they are unique. So that is the point.
Well, if that isn't a dismissal on religious grounds, I'm not certain how to describe it.
Perhaps you can expound on its purely neutral characteristics? Or did you actually intend a passive-aggressive response? I know *I* did < VBG >
I do not know, nor have I ever met anyone in real life that cites a Bible verse in response to a normal everyday question in a normal everyday discussion. Doing that changes the nature of the discussion to the point where you are now no longer having the same discussion. You can no longer argue that point because the point is now that persons personal conviction and not the original topic anymore. In itself doing THAT is what is passive aggressive.
I love where her heart is. I pray for Trump’s reelection.
On the tatoo subject; I grew up reading the National Geographic in the ‘50’s lots if pictures of Africans with bodies covered with all kinds of disfigurements. I could never understand why. Seeing the progression today to hoops in the ears I still don’t get it. I get my pain fix from hammers and wrenches, I just don’t need anymore.
On the religious side, there is a lot of OT that is not done. I have never seen blood running in the streets from Levites slaughtering the animal sacrifices required in the OT. That’s just one. The NT said that your body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit, it should be treated as such.
On the health side, the wonderful array of colors come from heavy metals that California says will cause cancer. JMTCW
