I’m betting some kind of mechanical failure with collective/cyclic.

It looked like the aircraft was tumbling rapidly. I’m betting main rotor blade failure. As in a large section or an entire blade sheared off leaving the remaining unbalanced three blades to cause the violent tumbling.

I’m not a pilot. Just my observation and casual knowledge of how helicopters fly.

Very sad, prayers to them and their families.

Not sure but if the chopper actually went down that fast I’m definitely leaning towards mechanical failure. The NTSB Crew will get to the bottom of the problem(s).

I read somewhere on FR that someone mentioned that the Engine(s) were making weird noises. Bad Fuel possibly?
