It looked like the aircraft was tumbling rapidly. I’m betting main rotor blade failure. As in a large section or an entire blade sheared off leaving the remaining unbalanced three blades to cause the violent tumbling.

I’m not a pilot. Just my observation and casual knowledge of how helicopters fly.

Very sad, prayers to them and their families.

LACS briefing says visibility may have contributed. Low cloud/fog.

Listened to a guy on “skud-running”, where a Helicopter pilot tries to out run fast changing weather.....
