According to a report from TMZ, NBA star Kobe Bryant and his 13- year-old daughter Gianna Maria Onore, were killed Sunday morning in a helicopter crash in California.

The high rate of descent near the end suggests some kind of loss of control or failure in-flight. Perhaps flight into IFR conditions and loss of control.
Had a general aviation pilot once tell me about when she got trapped over the SoCal low overcast. She was runningow on fuel and was lucky to find a gap in it that ledt her duck under and get her bearings.
Without that she would have had to descend into the fog and take her chances.
This has happened many times where a pilot takes his flight into fog and other detrimental flying conditions. Why? Just cancel or don’t fly until clear.

I just watched video footage of the chopper going down, and it was horrible to watch. I’m not an expert, so here’s my best description: The whole craft was rotating very fast (auto-rotating?), while the main blade were still rotating, and it dropped fast and struck the ground in a huge fireball. Just horrible.

Some 19 year old sees a chance to score some cash and Kobe is a rapist?
This so-called victim went for MONEY and NOT a criminal conviction. At a minimum he cheated on his wife. Bad on him. 17 years on he was still married to same woman. She forgave him and stayed with him.
You are entitled to be an asshole about this OR you can show a little compassion since 9 souls were lost and families devastated. My guess is you’ll choose the former.
