I really noticed that effect when I was a teenager watching "Crossfire." There was some inane subject that night and it was clear that the liberal (I think it was Kinsley) agreed with his co-host, but he was phoning in a performance for TV purposes. The artifice crumbled rapidly after that for me.
Would he have the same complaint if Trump marched in a pro-abort march?
