A ding-dong ditch prank turned deadly after a California man rammed into a car filled with six teen boys, killing three of them, according to authorities.
The boys, who did not know 42-year-old Anurag Chandra, rang his doorbell and ran off, officials said, according to reports.
California Highway Patrol officials said Chandra then intentionally rammed his car into a Prius with the six teens inside as they were leaving the neighborhood. The Prius then struck a tree, Buzzfeed News reported.
Drake Ruiz, Daniel Hawkins and Jacob Ivascu, all 16 years old, died in the crash.
boys killed "Jacob is the eldest of five kids," his father Alex Ivascu told KCAL-TV. "And he was the third mother/father figure. So we're all devastated."
Sergio Campusano, Joshua Hawkins, Daniel’s younger brother, and Joshua Ivascu, Jacob’s younger brother, all survived the crash, according to Buzzfeed News.
Chandra has been charged with three counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder.

Maybe he had reasonable fear of imminent grievous bodily injury or harm to himself or a loved one. I guess he’s the only one who can articulate that.

Agreed, but it may be that it was the "straw-camel's back" thingy. There's probably more to this story.
Several years ago in Pinellas we had 3 girl teens, with lengthy rap sheets, steal a car and lead the police on a chase. Seems that’s what young people liked to do in this area. Finally, they drove through a cemetery and into a pond, where they drowned.
The liberal media and families were very upset the cops didn’t wade into the pond at 2 in the freezing morning and rescue them, at the risk of their own lives, in time to save their lives. This was a case I did not have that much sympathy for the victims, although I was even more furious at the parents. These girls basically were acting like animals at age 15 and somehow it was everyone elses fault.
This guy chased them down for ringing a doorbell, completely different. Horrible. Something very wrong, although my guess is they may have been tormenting this man a while. I wonder. You know, some people get tired of being tormemted by a gang of kids and eventually lose it, and he may have been mentally ill or have had PTSD or something. But I guess that will come out in the wash.

The kids went to school just 2 miles from where I’m staying in Corona CA.

I believe it means that his younger siblings looked up to him as both a brother and also sort of as a 3rd parent.
I hope that is not the case but it is possible. It could be too that he had been harassed by other teens as well. Still his reaction was not justified.
This kind of thing happened many years ago where I live.
A group of high school girls were out on Halloween, pulled a prank and the homeowner chased their car, it turned over on a curve and one of the passengers died. The girl driving was the daughter of our veterinarian. It was a tragic and horrible time here for a while.
The best advice I gave to my teenage daughter: Don’t f*ck with people.
My guess is there is a cultural misunderstanding here somewhere.

When I was a teenager, I flipped this guy’s garbage can over in his front yard on Halloween night...Me and my buddies ran down through his cornfield as he screamed at us!!!!
Then...BOOM!!!!!!! I got pelted in the back ice cream salt fired out of a shotgun...Burned like hell...
