This thread explains why Putin likes Trump -- they share the cabal as enemy. To me, it also suggests an explanation for why Putin gifted Trump with a soccer ball early on in Trump's administration. Symbolically, Putin was handing the nuclear football (soccer ball to us) over to Trump.

Scary thought, but I think Hillary would have protected us from that eventuality.
