The Trump administration lifted federal protections Thursday for some of the nation’s millions of miles of streams, arroyos and wetlands, completing one of its most far-reaching environmental rollbacks.

The changes will scale back which waterways qualify for protection against pollution and development under the half-century-old Clean Water Act. President Donald Trump has made a priority of the rollback of clean-water protections from his first weeks in office. Trump says he is targeting federal rules and regulations that impose unnecessary burdens on businesses.

Trust me! This is a Big F***ing Deal!
NCBA President Jennifer Houston:
“This is the last regulatory step in a long-fought battle to repeal the 2015 Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS) rule and replace it with common-sense regulation. The 2015 WOTUS rule was an illegal effort to assert control over private property - and we fought to have it repealed - but it also needs to be replaced, and today’s action is the last step in that process,” Houston said. “”NCBA relentlessly fought WOTUS on Capitol Hill, at the Agencies, and in the Courts. Today, we can rest a little easier knowing that some power has been put back in the hands of landowners.

This is so great, you all have no idea how much stress is gone from farmers lives with this new EPA rollback. The idea of Washington DC beauracrats being able to come on your land, and tell you what and how you can use the water that the God of Heaven gives, is unbearable.

To ad insult to injury, they think evil of farmers and ranchers accusing them of polluting their own land, it gets your hackles up, to say the least. On top of that, they can add fines intended to be so severe, you may loose your land over non compliance.

They won't stop, they will keep coming and coming for everything you hold dear, religious rights, property rights, just liberty to make your own decisions. Now the 2020 election is illegitimate if Trump wins, because we can't be trusted with our vote.

“Now the 2020 election is illegitimate if Trump wins, because we can’t be trusted with our vote.”

Now that would make a great campaign button: “I can be trusted with my vote.”
