“Get Your Wings”. One of the great Rock & Rool albums of the 70s.
Freepers cant help themselves
The shit folks ape here
Confusing palsy with Parkinsons
Dummies dont know Parkinsons is freeze up disease
And eff no not caused by cocaine or alcohol ozzies favs
Only drug ever known to cause Parkinsons like symptoms is copious use of bad X
Not something he is known for
Your mind works but your muscles dont
It is an awful awful awful progression that ultimately kills u
Yep! That and GFR Live were my first 2 albums
It was Hendrix who opened for the Monkees.
You bet myself included!
“His abuse of drugs and alcohol makes Keith Richards look like a choir boy.”
Sounds like you are way underestimating Keith Richards’ drug abuse.
His list included heroin. Ozzy as I’ve heard never was a heroin addict.
“His list included heroin. Ozzy as Ive heard never was a heroin addict.”
When Keith was busted in Toronto for possession of heroin in 1977 he entered a drug rehab center and pretty much cleaned himself up. The reason? Keith said he loved the Stones more than he loved drugs. He was looking at serious prison time and couldn’t imagine life without the band.
Not to say Keith hasn’t dabbled in drugs since but he hasn’t been a serious user.
Ozzy, on the other hand, has never seriously worked at cleaning up.
In his own words.....”Speaking to The Sun, Ozzy had said: “I overdosed on drugs many times so I am lucky to be here anyway. Ive had so many brushes with death that Im the Comeback Kid. If I was a cat Id have 33 lives.”
“Not to say Keith hasnt dabbled in drugs since but he hasnt been a serious user.”
I have Keiths’ autobiography. You have no idea. He would whip out coke after dinner and slap it right on the table in front of everyone.
One story said he was asked not to do it in front of her mother. Later, at the dinner, he said it was time for dessert and slapped the coke on the table.
The poor woman’s mom was aghast and fled.
True story. He “dabbled.”
Was he a Sam Kinison level coke user or more a Charlie Sheen level? ;)
Not selling Keith’s drug use short but he never seemed to have a death wish. He seemed to be able to keep his use to a level that let him function.
Ozzy, on the other hand, has teetered on the edge of death and insanity numerous times.
When Sabbath fired Ozzy he disappeared and was later found in a nasty motel room surrounded by used food containers, empty booze bottles, bowls of prescription pills and all manner of other drugs.
Ozzy would occasionally disappear and Sharon would have to hunt him down and dry him out a bit.
During Sharon’s latest health scare their daughter Kelly said Ozzy grabbed two handfuls of pills and washed them down with vodka because he thought Sharon was dying. Luckily both lived.
Think you are not up on your Keith Richards drug abuse. I mean just look at Keith. He looks like a mummy who escaped a crack den.
Everyone knows the old Ozzy stories. He chilled out when he remarried Sharon.
She didn’t want all those billable opportunities screwed up.

Hey! He’s English!
Everyone knows the English age badly.
But I admit I haven’t kept a detailed record of Keith’s drug use. My knowledge is mainly anecdotal from some interviews and documentaries on the Stones.

Ozzy didn’t chill for long.
In an interview he admitted that he was stoned half out of his mind when he bit the head off the dove in front of a room full of record execs.
Sharon did admit once that she didn’t control his drug use as much as keep it under wraps. Couldn’t hurt the brand you know.
Ozzy was pretty zoned out most of the time they were shooting the Osbournes tv show. He hated it.
As to how they look Ozzy and Sharon both have had cosmetic surgery because Sharon hates looking her age.
Mick and Keith just let time have its way.
