He did not.

Western Fringe jacket and peace signs with both hands I remember even above the amazing music.

Strange. 15 years ago, Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkin Syndrome, not Parkinson Syndrome.

In a statement, Ozzy said “I don’t even know any Parkinson, I have no idea how I got his disease.”

I suppose everyone saw it and deduced ‘detox’, ‘withdrawal’, ‘drug induced brain damage’, ‘alcohol induced brain damage’, etc.

I saw him on his No More Tours tour in 1992.

It was the most amazing thing a 15 year old boy ever saw.

I have vivid memories even now, almost 50 years after.

Me and my buddy Randy hitch hiked there and back. Bought tickets at the door.

$6.

Hippies were selling weed and acid in the lobby.

Loved Sabbath and Ozzy my whole life. Let’s not deny that this is not a surprise. The Rock and Roll lifestyle has its drawbacks.

“The Rock and Roll lifestyle has its drawbacks.”

Yes, but it doesn’t cause Parkinson’s Disease.

He’s had it for at least 20 years.

Mine was at 17.
Mob rules tour at poplar creek. Opening band was the hounds, and dio was singing. I think it was advertised as Black Sabbath starring tony iomi but I’m a little fuzzy on that. Opening act was the hounds who I never heard of. They sucked. Was a little weird to have people trying to sell you acid in the parking lot

*😳* WOW!! That's the most stunning reversal I think I've ever seen! Wait a minute, though. The Monkees opened for Jimi Hendrix at some point. I read that one time and about fell off my bean bag!

Sometimes this is misdiagnosed. They told my Mom that she had Parkinson's. Later they figured out it was a disease called “essential tremor”, a far more benign condition.

*Years* ago, there were articles about Ozzy’s personal doctor giving him meds that caused the palsy he’s suffered with, ever since.

I personally think all the crap the doctor gave him may have caused this.

One of the articles, but not the one I’m still looking for

The guys got a history of health issues, mental and otherwise.
it’d be interesting to see if he ever could ‘reason’ without some sort of stimulant. Obviously I was never a fan of either his music nor the man....or for that matter his family overall.
