I think I remember T-1, T-2, and T-3 with the T-3’s being the ones that specifically target cancer cells in a healthy persons body.
I remember reading that every healthy person has cancer cells show up in their body, but in normal conditions the T-3 cells attack and kill them before they ever become a problem.
And that when people do get a cancer that continues to grow, there is some reason the T-3 cells have failed to kill them.
And the medical mystery was to find out why this occurs.
