She does seem to love him very much and has stood by him through some tough psychiatric issues (maybe spiritual?) some time back.
That speaks volumes. It’s not easy when someone has mental issues...very difficult time but hopefully, he is much better today and can be a great witness to her and their kids with regard to his beliefs.
