We had a Bob Cat den within a mile of house, what I saw was a panther a cougar. Long tail almost dragging to ground. Taffy in color.
Heres an image from #Wuhans fourth hospitalss ER, which shows that all medical staff in ER have been infected by #WuhanCoronovirus and the area is under quarantine. pic.twitter.com/v2VCNFhBT6— William Yang (@WilliamYang120) January 25, 2020
That is quite definitive. Long tail=cougar/catamount/mountain lion. Short, stubby tail = bob cat. Also, those spots are also rather telling.
We have cougars in our area as well as bobcats. They have wide territories.

We had not been to our farm in WI for about 3 weeks, when we got there the neighbors were all telling us they had seen a cougar for a few weeks now so watch your dog. They told the DNR who blew them off many times, saying not possible. Well, we have about 40 wooded acres out of the 90 acres and camera’s all over the wooded area for deer tracking. Guess what? We had over a dozen still shots of the cougar. The DNR finally agreed that it existed and sent out a team. The found it about a week later and removed it. Have no clue what they did with it though.
