I was not in HS at the time, only a kid but one of the reasons I loved this movie was the music but also the depiction of Southern CA during the time. It was like Tarantino had access to a time machine. Brought back a lot of good memories for me.

Yea he nailed it. I grew up 5 miles from Manson and his crew of miscreants. I had a friend who played in a band and had met several of them. Never Charlie he always sat in the car out side.
Anyway I really loved the ending.
