The Bible does not exist to provide technical information about the universe. It exists first to show that man is sinful and cannot return to God based upon his own merit. Then it provides a lot of detail regarding God's Gift of His Son, Jesus, to atone for our sins. So, through Grace we are forgiven our sins through the suffering, death, and Resurrection of Christ. All we have to do is believe that, and we will have Eternal Life.
That is the purpose of the Bible.
Your second paragraph is beautifully stated. Your first is incorrectly reasoned, but you’re quite right that salvation does not depend at all on a correct understanding of creation’s details.
The believe was intended to change our actions. It’s our actions that are key. Anyone can believe anything on any given day.
About 30% of the Bible is Prophetic. A lot of historians over the years have even accused the Book of Daniel as being a counterfeit written 100 years or so before Christ was born, since it’s accuracy is so detailed.
Not even Christians read it anymore (sad). Yes, Christ’s atonement for our sins is the main event, there are other sections that are just as important - to be used as a roadmap for Christians and Jews alike.
So back to ‘aliens’.
Why is it that “alien-abductions” are halted when the name of Jesus Christ or Jesus is mentioned by the abductee?
Google it if you don’t believe me. There are hundreds of testimonies.
