It doesn't happen often because the government regularly limits the use of drones around large public events. Sporting events, parades, large protests, marches and rallies. This isn't new. More and more people are using drones. Rules like this are necessary because people are irresponsible. If it were not regulated, there would be far more problems.
This is basic safety, not some evil conspiracy to cover up the murder of 2nd amendment protesters.
Drone use has exploded though.

The POTUS is doing all he can to protect patriot protesters. Implying the CIA is openly in control of Air Force aircraft and the FAA for deep state purposes over a highly anticipated event is part of the false information being spread to discourage patriots from attending the protest.
That plane has been identified in detail online more than 48 hours before the event by online bloggers. The president knows it’s there. It’s not in stealth mode, it was meant to be seen or they’d have used satellite cameras. President Trump is sending a message to the Deep Staters, we are watching you (re the plane and yes, satellites).

He only nominally has control of Federal law enforcement and the intel community.

What the Feds are doing is trying to prevent what happened in Charlottesville. Lots of strange things happened there that have never been fully explained.
We’re definitely screwed if no one does anything.
