They can vote to dismiss the baseless articles if they wish on grounds that they do not rise to the level of treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors and therefore this impeachment is unconstitutional and should be voided. Then they should censure the house for politicizing and weaponizing constitutional functions. No, Virginia, impeachable offenses are not ‘whatever the house says they are.’ The constitution says treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. There’s no there there.

Wow.

Too many, including myself thought the house could interpret whatever they wished to be an impeachable offense, even if it was absurd.

Now I know better.
