I hope it means that Trump is going to expose that impeachment is an attempt by the MIC to blackmail him into not ending the wars or bringing the troops home.

It will certainly make sense if POTUS references the Ike speech in his Speech to the People of the United States (Which will happen!) after the full and complete Senate ACQUITTAL.

He will need to make sense of this nightmare for the majority of Americans ... will need to provide context ... historical context ... as well as planting his feet on a BEDROCK FOUNDATION for the necessary PURGE of DS Traitors to follow.

Ike's speech is important here. President Trump will need to EXPLAIN and DRAW A BOX AROUND the EVIL.

People need to understand ... especially all the good-hearted Americans who have not lived and breathed this struggle as we have.

People need to understand that this thing is finite and identifiable ... that it has a history ... that it can and must be killed.

This part stands out to me:

This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence -- economic, political, even spiritual -- is felt in every city, every State house, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society.

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.

I am guessing it is because the public will soon be learning of the corrupt relationships going on between members of Congress and the defense companies. We will learn of the bribes and kick-backs that caused all sorts of deals to be made for armaments that we didn’t need and for wars we should not have fought. As always, follow the money.
