Maybe you should read the article, because you couldn't have gotten it any more wrong. Ahmari is Catholic. In this article he was criticizing the New Yorker, and others, for their anti-Catholic conspiracies.

Last year Ahmari was noted for a long debate with David French about the future of conservatism, and Ahmari was on the "more conservative" side, if you want to put it that way.
