I heard snatches of her speech on the radio and it sounded as though she had to struggle to keep a straight path with her words. I was thinking, “Is she drunk or on drugs or both?” as I listened. It was a definite struggle for her to speak coherently.

The whole adrenochrome thing has always struck me as nutball conspiracy talk, but damned if she doesn’t look like a vampire without a blood supply. She looked pretty good for her age up until a year or two ago and now does she ever look every day of 80 and then some.
Thought I heard her say at one point she was “securing funding” for this, did I hear this right? I watched two of her speeches and the line wasn’t there. If so does the democrat clan get paid extra, or is it another special fund to be tapped as they feel?

Nancy Pelosi is showing signs of senility or early dementia. The most extreme members of her caucus took advantage of this and manipulated her into supporting impeachment, but Pelosi didn't really understand what she was doing. To her, she was acting on rote memory from when she was Speaker the first time, and no longer had the capacity to understand all that was going on around her.
Therefore, the impeachment is invalid because the Speaker is suffering from diminished capacity, and a truly competent Speaker, even a partisan one, would recognize the importance of impeachment and would never sanction an abuse of the most impactful section of the Constitution for short-term electoral gain.
If this plays out all the way to removal, I'd call for the states to call an Article V convention for the purpose of proposing amendments, and propose an amendment repealing impeachment for the President from the Constitution. The people can find other ways to suffer through a distasteful administration until the next election.
