Even if you hate the snow, it could benefit Busch Beer drinkers in Michigan.
Busch Beer said Wednesday that for every inch of snow that falls throughout the season, Michiganders will get $1 off of Busch products.
They are basing the totals off a specific city for each state. For Michigan, that city is Grand Rapids.
Other cities include Green Bay, Wisconsin; Des Moines, Iowa; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Buffalo, New York.
There are seven cities in the United States where Busch is tracking snowfall totals. Check out the running totals per state at busch.com/snow-day.html.
The snowfall totals go back to January 1, and they'll keep track of those totals through March 20.
Each resident can earn up to $30 back in the form of a prepaid virtual or normal MasterCard rebate.
One qualifier, though, is that you must purchase one or more packages of Busch, Busch Light, Busch Ice or Busch N/A between January 1 and March 20, 2020.
Hell, I would have drank for free all winter when I lived there.
So if you get a foot of snow,
the warm crappy beer only costs $10 a cup?
What a deal!
Never had a Busch.
Um, there is that foot of snow to chill the product down...
I prefer Busch to most any other AB offerings, other being the non-alcoholic brand, preferable the dark.
Never had a Busch.
Had two, didnt like either one.
Ohh...
“one or more packages”
How much beer is in a “package”?
They would have to pay me a $1 to drink that crap.
“up to $30 back in the form of a prepaid virtual or normal MasterCard rebate”
And what the hell does that mean?
Cripes! A $1 off each inch? In a snow state? How much does a six pack cost up there??
lol
The trouble you have to go through to collect the snow rebate limits the usefulness for most people.
Pabst used to put out a Bock Beer this time off year. I don't think Pabst even really exists except in name only. I miss Ballantine and Rheinegold. Loved them both. I was six years old and my Dad would come home from work and I would sit in his lap share his Ballantine with him. When I was older, I would get off of work and grab a Rheingold "chug-a-mug". Glug, glug, glug, a wonderful, tasty, and refreshing dry beer.
These days I don't have much of a taste for any beer or alcohol. In general I don't think drinking any alcohol is a good idea.
Discount horsepiss is still horsepiss
When I lived in Michigan there was a brewery nearby which made a discount brand called Red, White and Blue.
Busch was champagne compared to that stuff.
They’d have to pay me to drink that “beer”.
“...a discount brand called Red, White and Blue.”
That was Pabst’s cheaper version of Blue Ribbon, like Busch is to Budweiser.
Busch is inexpensive and gets laughed at but it’s truly my favorite.
It’s extremely bubbly with citrus and apple notes.
So refreshing and not much alcohol.
In the summer I make my own shandy with it.
Dang I’m thirsty.
I’ve seen Red White & Blue beer but have never tried it. I don’t know if it’s still around.
