Bobby Petrino is back in the news as Missouri State announced the former Louisville coach has been named the 21st coach in program history on Wednesday.
Interestingly, Missouri State is scheduled to travel to Arkansas on Sept. 17, 2022. While there’s a slim chance Petrino is still at Missouri State at that time, we can dream!

Missouri State is a I-AA school that went 1-10 last season.
They’d probably hire Hitler as coach if he was available.
Bobby is a good recruiter and good coach. Maybe something good will come of it.

Uh, your info. is a bit out of date. Missouri State Basketball has been Division 1 since the 1982-3 season.
But, yeah. M.S. started off ok last year, and fell apart in conference play. I really thought Dana Ford (fired coach) would do better.
I don’t really follow basketball so I was unaware of that fact.
