Off-duty Secret Service agent shoots and kills dog on a leash in Brooklyn
NY Daily News ^ | 13 Jan 2020 | KERRY BURKE

The agent, whose name has not been released, was turning the corner from E. 8th St. onto Caton Place in Windsor Terrace about 9:45 p.m. when he came across a man and his girlfriend walking with a female Belgian Shepherd.

Police said the agent told investigators that the dog charged at him. And in a statement to The Daily Beast, the Secret Service alleged the dog was unleashed.

In answer to a request from The Daily News to clarify the characterization of “unleashed” since The News has a photo of the dog’s body at the scene with her leash still attached, a spokesman for the Secret Service said it “will not have further comment.”

Hang him from a tree in a public square and let the body dangle for three days.

Hmmm... was anyone holding the leash when the dog charged? Enquiring minds want to know.

Try not to get too emotional.

It’s a dog.

Karl Marx taught the communists to use emotions about animals to stir up the masses.

It’s part of satan’s plan to get people to worship creation.

If this guy can’t handle a couple walking their dog without drawing his weapon, maybe he shouldn’t be in law enforcement.

Not quite as bad as the FBI agent who shot a boy scout in the face in a road rage incident. He never was punished, either.

As far as I can tell, anything that relates to any of Trump’s actions as president are targets of the deep state. Didn’t Trump make it a felony to harm animals?

The deep state is up to no good.

Make sure this isn’t one of those kinds of schemes before you get all crazy about it.

If any journalist asks Trump about this, I’ll consider it strong evidence that the deep state is trying to

1) split Trump and the Secret Service

2) make Trump backpedal on his executive orders

On Monday, the agency issued a statement that said: “An off duty Secret Service employee was involved in the shooting of an unleashed dog in Brooklyn, NY this evening."

But on Tuesday, the Service said the Shepherd was leashed but “unsecured from its owner who was not present.”

_______________________________________________________

Changing stories and or making inconsistent statements tends to discredit the person making those statements. As a general rule, if a dog is on a leash, someone is holding it. Is that what happened here? I dunno.

This is simply a property crime.

The agent needs to pay up.

That's why I've said, the only LEOs I trust are our county sheriffs. The rest of them scare the sh*t out of me.

There might be a few questions about the discharge of a weapon.

Hey, were you the one who removed Tobit’s dog from the Bible?

Are you saying being angry about law enforcement unnecessarily killing pets makes him a commie?
Your analogy sucks.

One of my old friends, when he retired from the police department was talking with me. I congratulated him on his retirement. He said in his 30 years with the police department that he never, ever had to draw his weapon. He was proud of this fact.

He also was a very good cop. He was proud of never having to draw his weapon. He was also given a commendation for capturing a terrorist suspect he caught sleeping in a car on private property late one night. He was a good cop.

Good cops never want to draw their weapon.
