That was always closer to the truth then anything the Warmies have said simply because we are in the geologic age the Quaternary. (The Quaternary Period is defined by the cyclic growth and decay of continental ice sheets associated with Milankovitch cycles.) Unless there’s physical evidence to say we’ve left the Quaternary. Glaciation (Ice Age) is coming back, its just a matter of when!

Specific to natural Earth - Solar Cycles, Interplanetary Cycles (magnetism), Magnetic Cycles, and Tectonic Cycles (Geologic), and THEIR interactions, will always determine and dictate Ocean Currents (and ocean element make-up and viscosity), Temperatures (at every spherical level, which also impact salinity and mercury etc...), and FINALLY determine Climate and Weather.
Amd underlying it all is very cold Astronomical (and energy) Entropy.
Climate and weather are last, and cannot ultimately determine the natural and physical sciences which determine them.
At some point, the reigning political class will have no choice, but to end freedom of speech, in order to “end” reality, and accomplish their goal.

The large scale pH of sea water is not being thrown off by anything that humans have any control over. There is no unbiased studies that prove any connection with worldwide CO2 levels and the health of crustaceans. Crustaceans have survived for hundreds of millions of years. They have lived through ice ages and millions of years when the levels of CO2 in the atmosphere were many multiple times what they are currently. Crustaceans will surely still be around long after the last man is long gone.
As far as actual pollution from man made sources, of course it should be prevented. This is a worthwhile effort that is being short changed by so much attention being focused on a bunch of fear mongering over absolute nonsense.
These folks look at stuff at this moment as if that is indicative of a trend. Geologic trends last tens of thousands of years. We are currently rising out of an ice in a long trend. We are in the middle of a solar minimum, and that will reverse.

Sadly, I spend a great deal of effort trying to combat the nonsense that our kids, grand-kids, nephews and nieces have bought into. But its not just the youngsters who are influenced by leftist propaganda. As is demonstrated in this thread there are plenty of older folks who buy into the fear mongering as well.
One would presume that those old enough to witness the shift from the fear mongering over “man-made global cooling” to “man-made global warming” might have learned something from the spectacle. There is something in human nature which has caused people in ancient civilizations up to current civilizations to presume that man has control over natural processes which we do not fully understand. The Incas believed that by cutting out the hearts of young children and “sacrificing” the innocent that they could influence the climate. In our own illustrious past mostly women were burned at the stake after they were blamed for colder than normal weather that caused crop failure and famine.
The insanity continues today with abundant fuel being denied to elderly people living on pensions in Great Britain to the point that dozens die every winter from lack of heat in their tiny homes. And this is primarily because of increases in energy costs which are related to that government's obsession over theories that CO2 is causing “global warming”, “ocean acidification”, increased nasty weather in general, and any number of other unrelated problems. And as we have seen repeatedly on this forum, even people who are older and consider themselves conservatives often buy into this nonsense.
Where we live we are forced to put up with scores of “virtue signaling” people who have purchased expensive Teslas and “hybrids” and believe they are better than those of us who choose not to squander our money. And then we have those who endeavor to stymie any energy infrastructure improvements because they believe that will increase the cost of energy which they think is somehow helpful to the environment.
The nonsense we put up with because of propaganda put out by the left whose real intent is to eventually control every aspect of daily living is absolutely astounding. So I believe it is important to rebut the nonsense that even some here continue to spread. Yes the world has plenty of problems, but “ocean acidification” and “climate change” as presented by our leftist media are both complete BS theories which are not scientifically credible.

I would further point out that 0.075 degrees falls well within the margin of error and is a completely meaningless figure even if the parameters were well defined. No one knows or could know what the average ocean temperature is or what is even being referred to. This would be difficult to calculate even in a small body of water as it varies due to depth, location, season and even time of day. Wht we have here is nearly meaningless figures being manipulated by political activists who are calling themselves scientists.
Before WW2, they would typically measure ocean temp by lowering a bucket into the ocean from a ship, pull it back up on deck and use a thermometer to check the temperature. Highly accurate, I’m sure.
