(CNN)The world's oceans are now heating at the same rate as if five Hiroshima atomic bombs were dropped into the water every second, scientists have said.

A new study released on Monday showed that 2019 was yet another year of record-setting ocean warming, with water temperatures reaching the highest temperature ever recorded.

I should probably have stated the “obvious paradigm” that I was referring to. If the oceans are warming, they are releasing CO2 and becoming less “acidic” and if they are cooling they are absorbing CO2 and becoming more “acidic”. So are the oceans getting warmer and less “acidic” or are they getting cooler and more “acidic”. They really can't have it both ways. The temperature of the water has a much greater influence on the amount of CO2 absorbed than increasing the amount of CO2 from .03% of the atmosphere to .04%. The “ocean acidification” scare is complete nonsense.

CNN is literally as bad or worse than a tabloid.

There is no limit to how stats can be manipulated.

Five detonated 6000°C bombs, (with limited 6000°C area), the size of Hiroshima (even though comparitively small as nukes go), whether per second or per day, is literally “left wing stupid”, Flat Earther, hyperbole of a left-wing political statisticion alchemist hack.

It is designed specifically to prey on, and to scare children, and the already hopelessly dumbed down infantile brainwashed naive leftards.

Pure targeted scaremongering...

A fractionally inquisitive, or critical thinking mind, would hear or read this, and should naturally know it’s purely controlled politically motivated statistical anti-science, and likely involves playing and manipulating controlled “area” applications.

It is not what happened here, but I could go get temperature readimgs of ocean water immediately adjacent to lava flow in Hawaii, Italy, Iceland, or Antarctica, or from thousands of locations near subduction zones and trenches, where the water is super heated, and without telling a bunch of ignorant my sample temps were taken at geothermal hotspots, just tell them a thousand sples were taken globally, and they would freak out. It is that stupid.

The left always eliminates context from any topic or subject matter. Their beliefs and philosophies rely on this tactic.

Literally had a conversation on a civilian flight recently, where the adult next to me said “half the ice area of Antarctica would melt in this 2020 Southern Summer”. Then I told them, “with some variance, this happens every Summer”. They did not believe me, and were sure I was wrong, because there should be no ice left in just a matter of a few years. Then I explained that Antarctica roughly doubled in size every Winter.

The person was so distrought with what I was saying, before we deboarded, they were on their phone trying to disprove what I said. They were literally frantic that someone would suggest an annual peripheral fluctuation cycle.

Several others nearby were trying not to smile or laugh at this probable 23-27 year old adult.

It was was both funny and very sad.

You would have thought I just ran over their shelter pet. It was a deeply emotional, PTSD causing traumatic event.

I while later, I was rehashing how it was these highly programmed disinformed, with either warped, or no attachment to faith in God, who fell for the left-wing propaganda which caused armies of socialists/fascists/communists to bring so much death over the past century. We in the West have been in this same left-wing programming phase again, for decades now, and this is going to need to be dealt with to scale, or they will deal to scale with us.

Those were the good old days, when we took fishing and fishkabob to a whole new level!😂 The Russians detonated a lot of bombs everywhere. Lots of high altitude atmospheric testing.

Acidic or Base whether minomer or not, warming doesn’t concern me nearly as much as the PH changes... the impact of that are far more threatening than temperature shifts.

Temperature shifts do have their own threats... Biggest would be if they started to shut down the deep water currents... as this would trigger rapidly a new ice age most likely.

However PH changes, do not have to swing in huge directions to have a major impact. If the PH gets thrown off too much, various crustacean offspring cannot form shells as it affects their ability to absorb and utilize calcium... this could rapidly affect the entire food chain and have far more widespread and rapid impact than a few degrees of temperature.

Also, mercury levels are another concern, which is undeniably a result of human activity... Unlike general climate which cannot be shown, no matter what you are told to be largely impacted by human activity.

Humans do have an impact, and we should not ignore that... And should do things to minimize it when it is undeniable... Sadly the focus of way too much is on things that are dubious in terms of human cause, to the detriment of things that are clearly human related.

25 years ago, my uncle had a very large (roughly 75’ft tall), very healthy pear tree, but the county came through and cut it down (even though it was still about 20’ft from the road they had widened), after designating the pear tree as an “environmental hazard”, for a future drainage ditch and sidewalk no one wants, and they are still saying should be put in sometime in the next 10-12 years.

Then they went much further. They drove on one my uncle’s farm lanes while he was at work, (more than an eighth of a mile into his property), and cut a 300+ year old Cottonwood tree, (wich had a 12’ft diameter trunk) and a huge wild grape vine/trunk of more than 2.5’ft diameter. University of Michigan actually sent a team out to study the grape trunk, which had been attached to the 300 year old Cottonwood tree. They did not believe anything like that existed in our modern day. It was recorded.

The reason the county “environmental office” gave was similar, stating they intended to run power across his property, and the Cottonwood tree was in the way. That was 25 years ago, and they still keep saying this will happen in the next 10-15 years, and they have changed the proposed route. Again, no land owner out there wants this. Even so, my Uncle, (who is nuclear physicist), was willing to go along, but has clearly been “stomped on” by the PC lefty filled “environmental office”.

LOL - what idiots. The only thing heating up is poop on the streets of San Francisco - caused by endless liberal hot air.

You must first buy into the idea that the temperature of the ocean can be measured. This body of water covers 71% of the earth’s surface and has an average depth of 12,000 feet, so you would need to measure at 1,000’s of points and throughout a column of 30 to 30,000 feet in length. Next this an open system, which means any individual annual temperature or measures of a few years are meaningless. You must apply 500 level statistics to a mass of data to tease any trend out of the numbers. Basically, I understand the scientific method and mathematics and therefore cannot believe in man-made global warming.
