Well, sometimes you do have to go. My dad after his strokes had to go off and on for various things. However, I stayed with him 24/7.
Made sure his meds were correct, and needs were taken care of, and that people washed their hands. During flu season made sure they had their masks on-etc.
I think that everyone should have an advocate stay with them. I did the same for my Mom and Sister when they had to go in.
Had a few night shift people that tried to make me leave—it didn’t work. Once they tried to tell me that HIPPA wouldn’t let me. snort —I volunteered on health center board-knew all about HIPPA.
I told them that HIPPA did not require me to leave, and that there would be less HIPPA violations going on at night than there had been during the day, when I observed a bunch of violations every few hrs.
One nursing supervisor told me—you can’t stay here—I said just watch me. Bunch of BS. My Dad had expressive aphasia(due to his stroke) and couldn’t communicate well with the nurses—he would get a lot of anxiety if I wasn’t there.
His cardiologist always supported my staying.
OSWEDA:
We’re seeing regime change in Iran.
The strategy is quite brilliant, in that it relies on insiders to bring about the collapse of the mullahs’ reign.
Implementation began months ago.
Trump authorized Soleimani’s killing 7 months ago, with conditions
President Donald Trump authorized the killing of Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani seven months ago if Iran’s increased aggression resulted in the death of an American.
Qassem Soleimani created an internal-security force of over a million members.
But AS ALWAYS, these centralized forces rely on one thing and one thing only:
Orders from above.
Remember the opening of the Berlin wall? November 9, 1989.
What nobody talks about is that on October 9, 1989, the East German army, national police, and border guards were given an order to use deadly force to stop demonstrations.
Somehow they never received the order...snip...

I didn’t know they gave you such a hard time for staying.
When my boy was 10, he had his appendix out and I spent every minute I could at his side. I slept in a chair by the bed.
They didn’t give me a bit of trouble but I guess it might be different if you’re looking after a youngin.
