I recently bought a PC with Win 10 and am using the Brave browser with great results. Didn’t like the Edge browser.

But why? I already run Google Chrome 79 on my Windows 10 Pro system at home.

The new browser is a complete remake. Microsoft couldn’t beat Google so they joined them.

To: PROCON
Brave actually runs on the same Chromium code used by Google Chrome and soon Edge.

It seems to be working ok, and a little Faster than Google’s product.
One gripe is you still get that stupid prompt when opening 15 or more windows.

I also use the Brave browser. It’s pretty good.

I think that leaves Firefox and Safari as the only non-Chromium browsers that support a sizable market.

I’m staying with Win-7 Pro x64, Norton 360, MalwareBytes Premium and Opera v66. Screw Win-10, Chrome and its lousy junk crappola.

Are you tech savvy enough to explain to me why chromium base is better?

Browsers have almost become their own operating systems in terms of complexity.
Chrome is the standard, everyone else has to be comparable with Chrome, or convince everyone else to accommodate their unique features.

Edge is what finally prompted me to go to Firefox. I'm all set up on it so I doubt I would go back.
