It's a sad commentary but nine out of ten of these miscreants dressed better than pretty much anyone in my church. The one or two who actually looked down and out, may have legitimately been poor (no welfare back then), and I might have excused them for petty theft.
I’m shocked! Not one of them has his face all tatted up . . .
I was looking at guys working on the high iron in NYC on YouTube. All wore hats, many wore ties.
Maybe you need to find a new church?
But one looks like he had a run in with smallpox.
Never trust a man with no visible tattoos.
There are only a couple of options within a reasonable driving distance from me. But honestly, it’s true almost everywhere. Men simply can’t be bothered to wear anything more formal than a collared shirt and a pair of jeans without holes.
or nose rings
I noticed. Only one of them looked even remotely guilty . . . I think it was the 2nd one. Real shady.
I see ine was a “sneak thief “ what ever that is
A talk show host in Philadelphia mentioned he saw guys in pajamas at Midnight Mass. His producer said he had a slob in a santa hat and a LIGHT BULB necklace which he left ON during his service.
These priests are weak and scared and too afraid of losing members. So to keep as many in the seats as possible, they put up with this crap and of course, court illegals.
And when you're tired and tempted,
And scoffers can rebuff,
Don't turn away in anger,
This diamond in the rough.

And I will wager not one owns a nice cravat.
When men became too sisified to tie their cravats, that was the end of dignified masculinity.
Is Graham is distant relative of Michael Moore??
Amen.
i think there was one or two in the mix but lots of other sorts of bow ties etc. dashing looking theives, pick pockets, burglars....
Its like the cops call in the photog and he brings his trunk of props... here, wear this top hat, put on this collar and tie...
Like the high school senior portraits
I can’t help but wonder what his obscene literature was - probably nothing as crude as what they’re telling the kids in school these days.
