Jon is right about somethings, but also kind of uniformed. Curtis Mayfield was a soul singer/writer, but he evolved into funk. He's right about two of the songs, but, there is no such song as
Diamond in the Back by Curtis Mayfield. It's
Be Careful for What you Got by William DeVaughn.
They should have added War. And Betty Davis, one of the best, but little known.
