I have been taking 20 mg Of Lipitor for at least 40 years daily at bedtime. The only thing the statin has done, for me, is to keep my cholesterol levels in good shape. My family has a history of heart disease and many heart caused deaths. I will not buy into this article and there have been others like it over the years. I can remember discussing this topic before, here, on free republic.
Statins have been around a long time. And while I don’t doubt that some people have bad side effects the notion that statins cause depression, suicide and other maladies as described in this fake news article is simply utter rubbish.
