Well,I’m always pining for a garden. (Doesn’t everyone like gardens?) I know that Diane has posted the thread.

I don’t know what it is about something that’s green (that isn’t a cactus), but it brings peace when you look at it. I’ve seen apartments so full of plants that they could be an indoor garden and they just bring so much internal quiet. When the worries over the implications of this or that political situation tense the body and roil the stomach, a garden - or even just a single plant - is an awfully good counter.
