It’s like playing golf.
It isn’t as much fun when you are not sneaking out of work to go play.
I will have so much to do in retirement...can’t wait to start.
Yep....Sleep late, read, eat, sleep late, drink...You have to keep a busy schedule...
LOL!
LOL! Actually, I will have to work a few days a week (my sister owns her own work at home business, so I’ll probably be helping her out, and making out some much needed extra bucks). And I’m so active in my church! I can’t wait, can’t wait! My budget says keep working until 70. My heart says, nah...two more years.
Listen to your heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But the deduction for Medicare was probably up more than that. ...That’s what is happening to me in 2020 and I only have Medicare A&B.
Amen
I was let go by my employer of over 35 years at age 59.
Had to go 9 months with no income, until pension kicked in at age 60. Legal Dept. gave me a good separation pkg. that required no lawsuit by me. ...Provided full medical benefits until 65 (worth about $35-40k then).
Being divorced, I just kicked back and paid off my one year old car and doubled my mortgage payments, while playing a lot of golf. ...Paid off my mortgage in 20 yrs. instead of 30. ...Still driving the 2001 car.
Learned quickly that I didn’t need 3 meals a day and that one would do. I eat and sleep when I want to.
It’s been 18 yrs. since I retired and I feel better now than when I was working 50-60 hrs./wk in mgt. and sleeping about 5 hours a night. ....Loss of stress is GREAT!
Hell... Just all the packing and unpacking would be tiresome!
Enjoy the trip and your retirement!
The deduction comes out before My SS is deposited and my deposit was $32 higher...I’ll take it...
I understand that the internet is a world wide phenomenon.
Keep us posted.
“LOL...We have a hard time remembering which day of the week it is....”
That’s funny, same here. I retired a couple of months ago and find myself looking forward to the weekend being over, everything is less crowded during the week. I, however, do not miss the Sunday night blues. The whole thing is still kind of surreal.
LOL! Thank you! I’m sure I will!
