Tim is a classically trained singer, and has a beautiful baritone. I do believe he actually sang opera at Sadler and Wells way, way, way back in the 60s/70s.
Sadly, that voice is gone now. He had a masive stroke a few years ago, and I don’t think he’s been singing at all, although he’s still doing voice overs for tv.

Classical opera is like classical mucsic: it's still around being performed because it is SO GOOD.
