Federal government is closing early because of threat of snow.
Its 43 degrees outside in the nations capitol now.
Snowmageddon in DC!
If it does snow, it probably won’t be cold enough to stick to the streets. Should come down like rain.
A bunch of snowflakes afraid of the snow?
This is why Trump’s idea to relocate Federal agencies to fly-over country is a sound one.
These wimps wouldn’t last three weeks in Duluth or Fargo. They’d all quit.
Pathetic. I bet they’d stay at their little desks if there were an edict that stated, “you can go home early and have your pay deducted for the time off. Or you can stay at ‘work’ and get paid for that time. Your decision.”
Doesn’t the Washington area have terrible traffic gridlock problems, even in nice weather? Perhaps they fear total gridlock with the storm approaching?

Freakn snow chickens.
I worked in MA and a buddy at a nearby big unnamed corporation when a monster legit snow storm was going to hit said the company made an announcement...
“Due to inclement weather, non-essential personnel can leave at 2pm. HR Vice President, Mr Smith, will be in the lobby, noting all of the personnel that are consider non-essential”
Nobody left.
FedGov closing sounds like a win to me.
It’s for the best.
No one there does anything useful; and we save money on paperclips.

We need another ice age. Freeze Fedzilla into extinction.
I worked at a military base in the central Midwest. Never in the history of the base was it closed due to weather.
They would issue “Liberal Leave Policy” which meant if you called in for a vacation day your boss would grant it without the required paperwork in advance and without question. But, no, you didn’t get the time off paid free.
The ONLY time they closed it to non-essential personnel was the two or three days after 9/11. To get security upgrades in place.
Seems odd
Snowflakes have in the past stopped their cars in the middle of the beltway and walked to safety. They have left their cars in place for days, to be towed by the govt. These are the O-Hole Overseer’s flailing in The Swamp.
