On a train trip, I read 6-8 books a day, so reading is breathing to me, but I just couldn’t get into her. Also couldn’t get into the Anne Rice vampire books. On the other hand, W.E.B. Griffin - have read and listened to each book probably over 5x each.
Try approaching Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged as entertainment instead of “philosophical value”.
You may have been biased by your presuppositions.
Same with Animal Farm. It’s simply good literature with underlying meaning. You suss it out AFTER you read it.
Thoughts on DRAFT pull-out switcheroo letter.
Staffer leaving makes letter look like a canary trap. What if the letter actually protects the staffer from courts-martial (where info would come out...). What if the REAL crime were something more heinous?
What if the staffer was the leak to the NYT article about hyper-sonic missiles taking out Salami-guy? Note all the inconsistencies that have been pointed out...
